Q: How do I search for a specific manufacturing position?
A: Click the "Career Opportunities" tab, enter the position name in the Search Box, then click "View Career Opportunities".
Q: What if I want to see all open positions?
A: Leave everything blank and click "View Career Opportunities".
Q: How do I change the sorting order of the job openings listings returned by my search?
A: Click the column header.
Q: I have the list of jobs, but how do I see the posting description?
A: Click the position name for the job you wish to see and it will take you to the job description.
Q: Where can I find wage information?
A: The hourly pay varies by position, and this information is included in the application.
Q: How do I apply for a job?
A: First, search for a job posting. Click the name of the position to which you want to apply. At the next screen, you’ll view the job description. Please read this carefully to ensure this is the position you are most interested in. Then, to begin an application, click “Continue” at the bottom of the page.
Q: How do I submit my resume/work history?
A: After you successfully complete the application, you may be invited onsite to complete a computer based assessment. Please bring your resume to the assessment.
Q: How long does it take to complete the online application?
A: On average, it takes applicants 15-20 minutes to complete the online application, which includes a series of job-related questions.
Q: Can I save my application and complete it later?
A: Yes, you may save your application and return to it later. Use the link below to access a saved application. You will need to enter the same phone number, birth month, and birth day you used when you started your original application.

Q: Can I complete a paper application?
A: We do not provide or accept paper applications. If you do not have a computer or internet access, we recommend that you use a computer at your local public library or other community resource.
Q: How do I apply for more than one job?
A: It is our policy that you may complete only one application per 365 days, so please apply to your first choice job posting. If you meet the minimum qualifications for other positions, we may contact you for those positions, depending on our hiring needs. However, once the requisite reapply time has passed, you may complete another application. Please note that filing multiple applications (particularly under false pretenses, such as using multiple phone numbers) before the reapply period has elapsed is grounds for immediate disqualification from the process.
Q: How long will my application be kept on file?
A: Once you have completed an application, it will remain active in our database for one year after submission. During that time, it may be reviewed for openings for which you may be qualified.
Q: When will I be called about my application status?
A: You will be contacted within 2 weeks regarding your application status if you meet the minimum qualifications outlined in the job description. All initial communications are via email so please check your email on a regular basis. We do not contact each applicant, but you can email Human Resources for an update on the status of your application (mtka.jobs@ge.com).
Q: When can I reapply?
